Saying our last goodbye
Twenty-one years ago, my mother Grace opened a small boutique on a quiet street in Charleston. She'd spent years sewing in the evenings after work, and one day she decided to put her clothes somewhere people could actually find them. I was seven when she signed the lease.
I grew up helping her tag blouses, pinning hems, and learning which fabrics women reached for when they wanted to feel like themselves again. We dressed women for weddings, for new jobs, for first dates after long marriages, and for mornings when they just wanted to feel put-together.
Grace's health isn't what it used to be, and we've made the decision to close the shop this year. Before we do, we're sending the last of our inventory out to the women who made this place what it was. Thank you for being part of our story.

We pick pieces for women who stopped chasing trends and started dressing for themselves. No polyester that feels like plastic in summer. No sizing that pretends every woman wears a small. Just clothes that fit, that last past one season, and that you'll reach for on Tuesday mornings without thinking.

What started at our kitchen table grew into a boutique, and then into years of mornings spent helping women find outfits for the moments that mattered.
We're closing the doors this year, and we couldn't leave without saying thank you to every woman who walked in, tried something on, and trusted us with an occasion.
